Arabic swirls?

Inspiration for these nails is directly stolen from Tartofraises, the design was so beautiful that I just had to recreate it on my own nails... ^^´

I know it doesn't look nearly as gorgeus as the original design, but I like it anyway. :) I did purple tip with Sinful Colors Daddy's girl and added some GOSH - Rainbow on the top. Then I did the swirls with Kiss white nail art-polish and added Kiss silver nail art-polish in the middle of the white swirls. Here's a pic of the polishes I used:

What do you think? It was quite hard to capture all the colors to the photographs (especially Rainbow was making me crazy... ;)) but I hope you get the picture.

FIMOS! :D I haven't done those for a while, but last weekend my friend came here and we decided to do some crafts. Ah, I didn't even remember anymore how nice fimo-clay is! :')

Baby nails! ;) I used H&M blue my mind and black IsaDora graffiti-polish.

She liked them. :) We had fun, but yeah we should see more often!! Couple times a year isn't enough, right?
That's it this time, the frightening exam week and some big changes are ahead (more about those later), but I hope I'll be able to blog as often as I'd like to. At least I have to do my traditional good luck nails... :'D

Tämänkertaiset kynnet on siis kopioitu suoraan Tartofraisesilta! Ne vain olivat niin kauniit että oli pakko itsekin yrittää. Enhän minä tietenkään mitään yhtä upeaa onnistunut väsäämään, mutta tykkään näistä silti. ^^
Ensin laitoin pohjaksi yhden kerroksen H&M:n Pink Mistiä, ja sitten tein tipin Sinful Colorsin Daddy's Girlillä. Seuraavaksi kaksi valkoista kiemuraa Kissin nail art-lakalla, ja sitten väritin kiemuroiden väliin jäävän tilan hopeisella Kissin nail art-lakalla. Tippiin ja kynnen tyveen vielä GOSHin Rainbow'ta, ja valmis!
Viime viikonloppuna täällä kävi myös eräs kaverini (jota näen ihan liian harvoin! :<) ja päätettiin pitkästä aikaa askarrella fimomassalla! Tein kakkukorviksia ja juustohampurilaissormuksen. Niistä tuli aika söpöjä, en enää edes muistanut miten kiva fimomassalla on leikkiä... :D
Lakkasin myös kaverini kynnet. Värilakkana on H&M:n Blue my mind, ja sen päälle laitoin IsaDoran mustaa graffitilakkaa. :)
Koeviikko lähestyy uhkaavasti, mutta aion silti postailla entiseen tahtiin. Pitää ainakin tehdä perinteiset onnenkynnet... :'D

Polka Dots

Actually I have two different polka designs to show you! Here we go:

Why Dollar Green looks so grey?? It's really pastel green!

Polishes: H&M Dollar Green and Denim Dreams.

As I promised, something little different for a change. ;) I like the pastel colours, and dots are simple and cute design. :) I don't have a dotting tool, but I figured that this design would be easier to do with some tool so I decided to craft something like that...

Haha, it's far from perfect and looks extremely crappy, but it works! :'D I just poked a pin to rubber-headed pencil...
I did polka nails for couple friends too:

And the same design for another friend. :) The black polish is GOSH - Nero.

Lena had black nails already and she wanted pink dots. I used the neon pink Sinful Colors -polish, and I definitely like the pink/black combination! :) My friends were happy with their nails too. ^^

Tällä kertaa vähän erilaisia kynsiä! :) Eli lakkasin joka toisen kynnen H&M:n Dollar Greenillä ja joka toisen Denim Dreamillä, ja päälle pilkkuja kotitekoisella "dotting toolilla"... Minulla ei ole "oikeaa" dotting toolia, oten askartelin oman. Se näyttää ehkä vähän kämäseltä, mutta toimii! Tökkäsin vain nuppineulan lyijykynän kumipäähän. Sillä oli kätevä tehdä pilkkuja!
Tein pilkkukynnet myös parille kaverille. Ensimmäiset ovat Lenan, hänellä oli mustaksi lakatut kynnet valmiina ja hän halusi niihin pinkkejä pilkkuja. Tein pilkut Sinful Colorsin neonpinkillä lakalla. Toiset kynnet on tehty samalla pinkillä lakalla, ja mustana lakkana on GOSHin Nero.

Stripes & Flowers

Long time no seen! Or at least it feels like it's been a long time since I last posted something about nails. ^^' Anyways, now I have a girly design to show you!

Micro pearls and 3D flower with a pearl - so girly!

Things I used: H&M Pink Mist, Claire's, Wet'n'Wild Frosted Fuchsia and OPI show it and glow it.

Hmm, I just realized that I've been doing lots of pink designs lately. ö_ö I'll do something different to my next design!
First I polished one coat of Pink Mist as the base and then sponged the pink Claire's polish on the tips. Then I did the stripes with Frosted Fuchsia, free hand. And at last some glitter to the tips and then the 3D accessories! :)
Want to know what else I did? We had a "girls night", and...

Actually my friend polished these, I just added the rhinestones... ;)

...oh yeah, I'm not going to tell you who's nail those are (that would propably embarrass them too much ;)), but we had fun! xD


Viime aikoina on tullut tehtyä ehkä jo liiankin paljon pinkkejä kynsiä, joten seuraavista tulee jonkun muun väriset! ^^' Tällä kertaa kuitenkin todella tyttömäiset pinkit kynnet.
Ensin laitoin yhden kerroksen H&M:n Pink Mist -lakkaa, joka päälle liukuvärjäys pinkillä Claire's lakalla. Sitten tein vapaalla kädellä raitoja Wet'n'Wildin Frosted Fuchsia -lakalla. Kärkiin vielä OPIn glitteriä, ja päälle mikrohelminauhaa ja 3D kukka, jonka keskelle liimasin vielä helmen. Aika paljon näihin tuli kaikkea, mutta tykkään lopputuloksesta! ^^

Pink Splash

I promised you some new nails today, so here we go! I did something bit more complicated this time, because my nails have been quite simple lately...

This pic is taken in direct sunshine, I love the holographic polishes... *_*

Things I used! :)

I like them. :) The Golden Rose holographic polishes are very beautiful, and though the holographic effect isn't very special, I was surprised by the quality of them! The polishes dried quite fast and were super glossy even without the top coat. They were also easy to put on, and made very sleek surface on my nails. And the polish stayed on very well without chipping, I had these nails for a week, still no cracks! Yey!
So I put 3 coats of holographic polishes first and then made the pink "splashes" with my neon pink Sinful Colors -polish. Then just added the tiny sequins and round rhinestones. I love the rhinestones, I think they're very cute! They look like pink water drops or bubbles or something... I'd love to do some kind of marine-themed manicure with blue-drop-rhinestones! :D
Then I did also my toe nails:

I saw this design in some nail blog, I just can't remember where! But the point is that this is not my own idea.
So I polished my nails with my white Rimmel polish and gefore the polish dried, I did that "lace" using dry-marble -technique. I think they turned out quite well. :)

My toes are quite crappy, I know... :P Winter makes my skin very dry! :(

That's it. :) Btw, I have a picture of my blingy-polish removal -operation...

Removing blingy polishes is painfully hard, but that foil-technique makes it much easier! :)

Äänestysaikaa on jäljellä vielä 19 tuntia, mutta laitan nyt tähän postaukseen tiivistelmän...
Lakkasin siis kynnet Golden Rosen hologrammilakoilla, ja yllätyin positiivisesti niiden hyvästä laadusta! Lakka levittyi hyvin, kuivui melko nopeasti ja teki kynsiin todella tasaisen ja superkiiltävän pinnan jopa ilman päällyslakkaa. Laitoin 3 kerrosta hologrammilakkaa, ja sitten tein pinkit kuviot Sinful Colorsin neonpinkillä lakalla. Päälle laitoin vielä minipaljetteja ja pyöreitä strasseja, jotka kiinnitin kynsiliimalla. 
Varpaankynsiin tein mustavalkoisen "pitsikuvion" kuivamarmorointi tekniikalla, tämän idean löysin eräästä kynsiblogista, jonka nimeä en nyt millään saa mieleeni... Siellä oli myös tutoriali näihin, postaan tänne linkin blogiin heti kun löydän kyseisen postauksen. :) Käytin Rimmelin valkoista lakkaa "London Clouds" ja Kissin mustaa nail art -lakkaa kuvioihin.
Lopussa on vielä kuva edellisten blingikynsien poistamisoperaatiosta, kyllä tuo folio on kätevä keksintö! Säästyy paljon aikaa ja vaivaa. :P

Tämän tyylisiä tiivistyksiä on siis luvassa jatkossakin, toivottavasti tykkäätte! ^^

Okay this is a design I was supposed to present you at that previous post, but because of some blogger-fail I couldn't. :P Now everything seems to be working ok, so here we go:

Yeah, I like it. :) I love that polish, it's my first OPI designer series polish! I like the colour, and the holographic effect is amazing! *_* I didn't even realize this was a holo when I bought it, so it was a great surprise... :D Some pictures of the bottle:

Ooh, I have to show you something. :D I was just surfing around Youtube, not really looking for anything, and I found a video with some extremely inspiring nail art! This is actually a make-up tutorial, but OMG look at the nails! *_* (And yeah, that make-up is very cool too!)

Sorry I've been gone so long, but now I'm back with new nails. ;) I did blingy party nails for the cruise (had lots fun there with my friends, thanks everyone! <3),and I really liked them! Pink & blingy, what could go wrong? :D
