Swirly toe nails + new polishes

I'm sorry, my toes look crappy in these pics, but I liked this pedicure and wanted to share it here... :P Also it was so hot outside that I took the pics inside and the quality isn't the best. Anyway, I'm sure you get the idea of these:

First two coats of OPI Tease-y Does It and then the golden swirls with Golden Rose nail art polish, free hand. I was planning to just polish them quickly with some dark polish and leave it there, but then I remembered THIS design I made loooong time ago with that Golden Rose polish, and decided to do something with it again.

I also went shopping a little today, and found a shop which sells China Glaze and Sinful Colors polishes! I bought two new polishes:

Varpaankynsissä kaksi kerrosta OPIn Tease-y Does It ja päälle tein kiemuroita Golden Rosen nail art lakalla.
Tänään käytiin shoppailemassa ja löysin kaupan, joka myy Sinful Colorsin ja China Glazen lakkoja! Luulin että niitä ei saa täältä, mutta jess! Ostin sitten Forget Nown ja Nail Junkien. :)

Pink & Bling for toe nails

OMG, blogger has been crazy lately... Fail after fail after fail! >:o I was afraid that it would never start working... :< First it messes up with my comments and then when I tried to sign in, it just told me that blogger is currently unavailable! And I was like FFUUUUU----! ;DD
Anyways, back to the nails now. I made this one too before taking the henna tattoos! ;)

 Heh, that's a lot of sparkle for me. ^^ I used ready rhinestone stickers for toe nails, I forgot to take a picture but I've used them here before. I love them, and they cost only 7 dhs from Daiso!
The polish is one of my favorites, it's from Claire's but it seems that it doesn't have name. The bottle is quite small and it's already running out... I was supposed to buy a new one now that I'm here, but they don't sell this polish anymore! Nooooo.... :< I have to start looking for a replacement.

It's important for me that my toenails look pretty, because I use lots of sandals here in UAE... My toes are quite crappy and I have big feet (sigh :<), so I like at least use pretty shoes and have my nails pretty. :')
And hey, my mom had her birthday and mothers day was recently, so I made two cards for her!

Blogger on sekoillut viime aikoina oikein kunnolla, toivottavasti nyt alkaisi toimia... -.-
Käytin valmiita blingitarroja, joista unohdin ottaa kuvan...^^' Olen käyttänyt samanmerkkisiä tarroja ennenkin, kuvia voi yrittää bongailla täältä blogista. 
Lakkana on yksi lempparilakoistani, vaaleanpunainen Claire'sista ostettu lakka, jolla ei näytä olevan nimeä. Pullo on aika pieni, ja se on jo puolillaan! Minun oli tarkoitus ostaa uusi nyt kun olen täällä, mutta niitä ei myydä enää! :< Pitää löytää jokin korvike.
Lopussa on kuvia synttärikortista, jonka tein äidilleni, ja äitienpäiväkortista! ^^

Pink Splash

I promised you some new nails today, so here we go! I did something bit more complicated this time, because my nails have been quite simple lately...

This pic is taken in direct sunshine, I love the holographic polishes... *_*

Things I used! :)

I like them. :) The Golden Rose holographic polishes are very beautiful, and though the holographic effect isn't very special, I was surprised by the quality of them! The polishes dried quite fast and were super glossy even without the top coat. They were also easy to put on, and made very sleek surface on my nails. And the polish stayed on very well without chipping, I had these nails for a week, still no cracks! Yey!
So I put 3 coats of holographic polishes first and then made the pink "splashes" with my neon pink Sinful Colors -polish. Then just added the tiny sequins and round rhinestones. I love the rhinestones, I think they're very cute! They look like pink water drops or bubbles or something... I'd love to do some kind of marine-themed manicure with blue-drop-rhinestones! :D
Then I did also my toe nails:

I saw this design in some nail blog, I just can't remember where! But the point is that this is not my own idea.
So I polished my nails with my white Rimmel polish and gefore the polish dried, I did that "lace" using dry-marble -technique. I think they turned out quite well. :)

My toes are quite crappy, I know... :P Winter makes my skin very dry! :(

Removing blingy polishes is painfully hard, but that foil-technique makes it much easier! :)

Äänestysaikaa on jäljellä vielä 19 tuntia, mutta laitan nyt tähän postaukseen tiivistelmän...
Lakkasin siis kynnet Golden Rosen hologrammilakoilla, ja yllätyin positiivisesti niiden hyvästä laadusta! Lakka levittyi hyvin, kuivui melko nopeasti ja teki kynsiin todella tasaisen ja superkiiltävän pinnan jopa ilman päällyslakkaa. Laitoin 3 kerrosta hologrammilakkaa, ja sitten tein pinkit kuviot Sinful Colorsin neonpinkillä lakalla. Päälle laitoin vielä minipaljetteja ja pyöreitä strasseja, jotka kiinnitin kynsiliimalla. 
Varpaankynsiin tein mustavalkoisen "pitsikuvion" kuivamarmorointi tekniikalla, tämän idean löysin eräästä kynsiblogista, jonka nimeä en nyt millään saa mieleeni... Siellä oli myös tutoriali näihin, postaan tänne linkin blogiin heti kun löydän kyseisen postauksen. :) Käytin Rimmelin valkoista lakkaa "London Clouds" ja Kissin mustaa nail art -lakkaa kuvioihin.
Lopussa on vielä kuva edellisten blingikynsien poistamisoperaatiosta, kyllä tuo folio on kätevä keksintö! Säästyy paljon aikaa ja vaivaa. :P

Tämän tyylisiä tiivistyksiä on siis luvassa jatkossakin, toivottavasti tykkäätte! ^^

New Nail Designs and Shoppings from UAE !

Everything was so huge in Dubai, I felt very tiny everytime we were there... Good thing my family lives in Al Ain, it´s more green than Dubai or Abu Dhabi, and it´s not sort of a tourist place as Dubai! I think Al Ain is just more comfortable than them, u know? :) There´s more great pics in my sisters´ blogs, HERE and HERE. Check them out! ;)

I took a henna tattoo!

It turned out very dark brown in couple of days, I think it looks cool! :D

I bought my first Konad plates! This is one of my first attempts, index finger failed but the rest are okay, right? :)) Polish is OPI Merry Midnight.

Another try with Konads, this time on Karzu´s nails.

Isn´t that cute colour? I love it! *_* It´s the Claire´s pink polish.

This design is currently on my nails, I like it very much! I haven´t done anything that complicated for a while. :)

So what do you yhink about them? :) That last design is my personal favorite... And I´m surprised about how easy those Konads are to use, I´d never tried them out before. I still have to practise, of course. ^^'

I also bought OPI - Show It And Glow it and Chip Skip, but I forgot to take a pic of them. I´ll present them to you later! :) Then I bought four Konad plates, m14, m72, m32 and m3 + three Konad special polishes, black, white and red. Then I bought lots of accessories, but I have no pics of them neither. ^^' I´m sorry, but you´ll see them, I promise! :)
And of course I bought lots of other stuff, clothes and everything, but this is a nail blog. :P
So now I´m back Finland and I´ll blog normally again! I can´t wait to try out the rest of my shoppings... ;) I hope you all had great New Years Eve and your year has started great! ^^
