Gradient zebras

Yeah, finally I have some nail art to show you! :'D I did this design before coming to Finland, and I liked it so much that I actually wore it about three weeks.... o_o That's some kind of record for me!^^

Sinful Colors - Daddy's Girl and Forget Now

First I made the gradient effect by sponging the two Sinful Colors polishes. I hadn't tried this kind of gradient effect, you know with two colorful polishes, before. I really like it! I'll definitely do something like this again. :)
Then I thought it might look even better if I added something on it, and so I ended up to do these golden zebra stripes. I used the Golden Rose nail art polish. Hehee, I liked this design! ^^
Okay then. I've decided to take summer vacation from blogging... I'd really love to keep blogging, but I simply have no time now when I'm in Finland. :P So I'll enjoy my time here, and I'll be back in September, when my life has settled again! I'm sure I'll have lots of new stuff to share with you then... ;) Anyway,

Pitkästä aikaa taas kynsiä! :D Tykkäsin näistä kynsistä niin paljon että pidin niitä suunnilleen kolme viikkoa... Se on kyllä ennätys, ainakin minulle. xD 
Ensin tein liukuvärjäyksen töpöttämällä Sinful Colorsin Forget Now:ta kynnen tyveen, ja sitten Daddy's Girliä kärkiin. Lopuksi tein raidat kultaisella Golden Rosen nail art lakalla. 
Päätin pitää kesälomaa bloggaamisesta... Minusta olisi mukava kirjoitella tänne, mutta nyt kun olen Suomessa, niin en yksinkertaisesti ehdi. :P Aion nauttia kesästä täällä, ja palaan bloggailun pariin syyskuussa!

Hello~! ^^ I shortened my nails a little and did those colorful summer nails I was talking about. I love them! :D I used my favorite polishes, and these really remind me from candy... xD

I wasn't planning to do the konads, but I'm really glad I did! They finish the look. ;) I hadn't tried those little laces before,  I think they're super cute! ^^

Viilasin kynsiäni lyhyemmäksi ja tein värikkäät kesäkynnet! ^^ Käytin lempparilakkojani, ja minusta näistä tuli tosi söpöt. :) Lakkoina siis OPIn Simply Smash-ing!, Sinful Colorsin Forget Now ja Orlyn Halleys Comet. Pienet pitsikuviot on konadin laatasta m71, ja käytin mustaa konadin lakkaa.

Turquoise sparkle

Long time no see! I'm sorry for being a little absent, but I've had lot to do lately... :P I'm coming back to Finland soon, and I want to enjoy being here as much as I can. And I've been shopping... I hope it's going to be warm in Finland when I finally get there, because I've bought so much cute summer clothes! :'D And I can't wear them here without leggings and bolero to cover my knees and shoulders (respectful clothing), and it's getting a little annoying, because I dislike the shorts/leggings combination. :P So better be so warm in Finland that I can wear shorts and tops!! Also because it's so hot in here (today already 49 C) that even 20 degrees which is warm in Finland, will feel freezing cold... ;__;
Okay, now for the nails:

I love summer! Sun and warmness (that even a word? :'D) make me want to do something super cute and colorful! :D
I used my favorite turquoise polish, Halley's Comet, and the new Sinful Colors polish I bought recently. They are very sparkly! <3 Polishes I used:

H&M Pink Mist, Orly Halley's Comet and Sinful Colors Nail Junkie + made the dots with my white Rimmel polish and dotting tool.

Oh, someone asked when I'll do the post about myself! If there's still someone wondering about that, I'll do it when (if) my blog reaches 200 followers. ;)

Viime aikoina on ollut vähän kiireitä, sillä olen tulossa Suomeen kesälomalle, ja haluan nauttia täällä olosta vielä kun voin. :'D
Näihin kynsiin käytin Orlyn Halley's Cometia, joka on ihanin turkoosi lakka tällä hetkellä... <3 Ensin lakkasin yhden kerroksen H&Mn Pink Mistillä, ja sen päälle tein kiemurat Orlylla. Sitten laitoin yhden ohuen kerroksen Sinful Colorsin Nail Junkieta, ja sen päälle vielä pisteitä Rimmelin valkoisella lakalla ja dotting toolilla. 
Kesällä tulee tehtyä ihanan värikkäitä kynsiä! Tykkään näistä tosi paljon, seuraavaksi ajattelin että voisin viilata noita vähän lyhyemmäksi ja tehdä taas jotain värikästä... ^^

Swatch - Sinful Colors Forget Now

As I promised, here's swatch for one of the Sinful Colors polishes I bought recently, Forget Now. And I have to say... It's GORGEUS!! *_* My new favorite pink polish! It's shiny, sparkly and bright! It's a perfect summer polish! xD I love that bright pink colour, and it has this beautiful shimmer in it... The quality of the polish was also great, I needed two layers and it dried quite quickly. But that colour... So perfect! Okay, enough text, look at these pictures!

Kuten lupasin, tässä on swatch toisesta ostamastani Sinful Colors lakasta, Forget Now. Täytyy sanoa, että tämä on aivan UPEA!! *_* Tästä tuli heti uusi leppari pinkki lakkani... Katsokaa nyt tuota kiiltoa, kimmellystä ja kirkkautta! Minusta tämä on täydellinen kesälakka. Myös laatu oli hyvä, tarvitsin kaksi kerrosta, lakka levittyi hyvin ja kuivui melko nopeasti. Ihanuus! <3

Swirly toe nails + new polishes

I'm sorry, my toes look crappy in these pics, but I liked this pedicure and wanted to share it here... :P Also it was so hot outside that I took the pics inside and the quality isn't the best. Anyway, I'm sure you get the idea of these:

First two coats of OPI Tease-y Does It and then the golden swirls with Golden Rose nail art polish, free hand. I was planning to just polish them quickly with some dark polish and leave it there, but then I remembered THIS design I made loooong time ago with that Golden Rose polish, and decided to do something with it again.

I also went shopping a little today, and found a shop which sells China Glaze and Sinful Colors polishes! I bought two new polishes:

Varpaankynsissä kaksi kerrosta OPIn Tease-y Does It ja päälle tein kiemuroita Golden Rosen nail art lakalla.
Tänään käytiin shoppailemassa ja löysin kaupan, joka myy Sinful Colorsin ja China Glazen lakkoja! Luulin että niitä ei saa täältä, mutta jess! Ostin sitten Forget Nown ja Nail Junkien. :)

*Neon pink Sparkle*

Another design I made before I took the henna tattoos (this is the last one! :P).

Aah, so glittery and bright, I love it! :D Although I didn't wear it as long as the summer nails, because that neon pink is so bright that sometimes I felt like it hurts my eyes... :'D I used my neon pink Sinful Colors polish and pink glitter from Make Up Store. That's actually make-up, but I figured that I can as well dip my nails into it... :D And I like the result.

Käytin näihin kynsiin Sinful Colorsin neonpinkkiä lakkaa ja Make Up Storen neonpinkkiä glitteriä. Tuo glitteri ei varsinaisesti ole mikään "kynsienkoristelutuote", mutta ajattelin että miksei sitä voisi käyttää niinkin. Eli dippasin kynnen kärjen glitteriin kun lakka oli vielä märkää.

Arabic swirls?

Inspiration for these nails is directly stolen from Tartofraises, the design was so beautiful that I just had to recreate it on my own nails... ^^´

I know it doesn't look nearly as gorgeus as the original design, but I like it anyway. :) I did purple tip with Sinful Colors Daddy's girl and added some GOSH - Rainbow on the top. Then I did the swirls with Kiss white nail art-polish and added Kiss silver nail art-polish in the middle of the white swirls. Here's a pic of the polishes I used:

What do you think? It was quite hard to capture all the colors to the photographs (especially Rainbow was making me crazy... ;)) but I hope you get the picture.

FIMOS! :D I haven't done those for a while, but last weekend my friend came here and we decided to do some crafts. Ah, I didn't even remember anymore how nice fimo-clay is! :')

She liked them. :) We had fun, but yeah we should see more often!! Couple times a year isn't enough, right?
That's it this time, the frightening exam week and some big changes are ahead (more about those later), but I hope I'll be able to blog as often as I'd like to. At least I have to do my traditional good luck nails... :'D

Tämänkertaiset kynnet on siis kopioitu suoraan Tartofraisesilta! Ne vain olivat niin kauniit että oli pakko itsekin yrittää. Enhän minä tietenkään mitään yhtä upeaa onnistunut väsäämään, mutta tykkään näistä silti. ^^
Ensin laitoin pohjaksi yhden kerroksen H&M:n Pink Mistiä, ja sitten tein tipin Sinful Colorsin Daddy's Girlillä. Seuraavaksi kaksi valkoista kiemuraa Kissin nail art-lakalla, ja sitten väritin kiemuroiden väliin jäävän tilan hopeisella Kissin nail art-lakalla. Tippiin ja kynnen tyveen vielä GOSHin Rainbow'ta, ja valmis!
Viime viikonloppuna täällä kävi myös eräs kaverini (jota näen ihan liian harvoin! :<) ja päätettiin pitkästä aikaa askarrella fimomassalla! Tein kakkukorviksia ja juustohampurilaissormuksen. Niistä tuli aika söpöjä, en enää edes muistanut miten kiva fimomassalla on leikkiä... :D
Lakkasin myös kaverini kynnet. Värilakkana on H&M:n Blue my mind, ja sen päälle laitoin IsaDoran mustaa graffitilakkaa. :)
Koeviikko lähestyy uhkaavasti, mutta aion silti postailla entiseen tahtiin. Pitää ainakin tehdä perinteiset onnenkynnet... :'D

Contest nails

Okay, apparently it is allowed to publish the contest nails before the winner is released... My mistake, I´m sorry you had to wait this long! There were two themes in the competition, Coloursplash and Black on white. I did both of them. 
First the Black on white -manicure:

I used my white Rimmel polish, London clouds, as the base and then I put on some lace stickers. The L O V E -letters are made with black rhinestones, I glued them on one by one. There´s a little rose in the middle of O... :) The Sweet Love -text on my thumb is made with black nail art polish, free-hand.
Then the Coloursplash:

I used five different polishes, the green Claire´s -polish, Sinful Colors Fusion neon, H&M Blue My Mind, Models Own Lemon Merinque and OPI atomic orange. Then I added the tiny sequins one by one, and then glued on the colorful rhinestones (also one by one).
So what do you think? :) I put so much time and effort to both of them, I really hope everyone likes them! ^^ These aren´t the same pictures I sent to the competition, I did little collages for that. ;)

Shocking Pink

I haven´t shown you nails for a while, because I´m entering to a nail art contest and it has to be done anonymous. The competition is only in Finland, I think, but it´s HERE, if someone is interested. :) I´ve done 2 manicures for that, and I´ll show them to you when the winner is released. ;))
Anyway, I bought a gorgeus neon pink! Sorry that the pics are quite crappy again. Now I´ll introduce the polish to you on my pathetic, short right-hand nails. :'D

Sinful Colors - Fusion Neon

I also bought a Wet´n´wild -polish which name I can´t remember right now...

Aagh it´s so bright! The best neon pink I´ve tried. The sun wasn´t even shining and it was already quite gloomy, but the polish is still shocking pink. I´m in love! ;DD
