Just a quick announcement...
I'm sure some you remember my sister's blog, which she had to delete. She has now finally started a new blog, and still doing amazing nail art! I thought I would help her by advertising her blog here a bit, because some of you guys may have been following her old blog. :) So check it out, everyone!
I miss them so much! But I got to see almost everyone I wanted to, the cruise was A W E S O M E and and my last days even more awesome, went partying with my friends. ;) Now I'm so homesick but luckily I'm going back for summer... :')
I want to share some songs that will always remind me of the best time I've had in Finland... x)
You all know I've been super busy lately, and I haven't been writing that much here, I've just published pics and some basic information. Now I feel like writing some deep thoughts so here we go... :P
I'm living far from home right now, and even though I love everything here, Finland will always have special place in my heart, no matter how cold and crappy the weather is out there right now. ;) I don't really miss the place, I miss my people over there. ^^
My friends mean everything for me, I've known some of you my whole life and some of you 5 years or less (I know you guys are reading this <3), but time doesn't really matter. I have my new life here, and it's really amazing how awesome people I've met, but I could never forget any of you!
Right now I'm just enjoying my time here, because I know that one day I have to come back and then I will miss everyone from here. It really breaks my heart to know that there will always be people who are living far away from me and who I'm going to miss so much. I realized it the other day when I was chilling with my friends. Not many people stay here for a long time, people move back to their home-countries or some other countries and new people come here instead. This is a wonderful opportunity and experience, and I will never forget people I've met here or things I've done, but I just wish I could have all my homies in the same country at least... :') I never thought I would like this place so much, but in the end it's the people I love who matters. I'm going to come to Finland in February and I'm thrilled to see you again! x) It's been too long! <3
And all you my wonderful readers, thank you so much for your patience and sweet comments! <3 You guys are one of the reasons I'm writing this blog, so thank you for every single one of you! ^^
Haha this was very random post, thank you for everyone who read the whole thing... :'D I just wanted my people to know how much you really mean to me. You have made me a better person, cheered me up when I was feeling down and been patient and understanding even though I haven't always deserved that... x) You have always been there for me, and I hope you know I will always be there for you. <3
Hi everybody! Some of the followers of this blog used to read My travel diary, KarzU's blog? The reason you can't even go into my blog anymore is that google deleted my account :'( Guess what it deleted too, without giving me any time to copy some things I wrote there? It deleted my blog. The reason for this is that I'm younger than 13 years old. Yep. I happen to know more than 5 different people who have a gmail and they're my age. I was talking to one of them on msn yesterday, and I asked if this happened to them. It didn't. I asked my other friend, and it didn't happen to her either. Well, I asked my sister if I can just write a post in here to tell some of my followers the reason they can't go to my blog anymore. One more thing, I had written 5 different posts ready to post there. One of them was 115 random things about me. It was a celebration post for my blog which had just turned 1! I just thought, I can post it tomorrow and you already know what happened. That's all, bye!

Now I'm finally going to tell you more about myself! :) Sorry it took so long, my blog already has over 200 wonderful followers... <3 Thank you! I'm now in Finland, and it's been surprisingly warm and sunny (I was expecting rainy weather...) so I've been enjoying that and also spending time with my friends. <3 I'm not sure if I should take summer break from blogging, but I'll do at least couple posts more and decide then. I feel like I have so much stuff to do now when I finally got here! :D
Anyway, that's the newest pic of me, haha I look quite serious... xD As you can see, my hair is pretty long now... Last time I went to hair dresser was last winter, I think... Or was it autumn? xD I should cut it little shorter, but somehow I keep forgetting. :'D Besides I like my hair long! ^^
I have no idea what to write now, so I'll just share some random things and pics with you! ;)
I've already told you this, but I have to wear respectful clothing at the UAE... Which pretty much means leggings in every outfit. :P I swore that since I'm in Finland now, I'm so not gonna wear leggings at all! xD I hope I can keep that promise. :'D
I'm in love with strawberry cheesecake. I love pretty much all cheesecakes, but strawberry cheesecake is so delicious... :9 And even better, if it's strawberry cheesecake from Starbucks! ^^

I love my friends!! <3 I missed them so much when I was away, and I'll miss them even more when I leave again. :< They're very important to me, and I can always trust them. We've always had great time together, and will always have. I feel so lucky to have so many amazing friends! ^^

I'm easily distracted. And I love to doodle stuff to my notebooks. That's a page from my maths notebook... The texts are: "1/e <-- this'll make me pass!" and "Are you still with me? -YEAH!" ...that's what our teacher asked, and everyone else was like yeah sure we are, but me and my friend had already fallen faaar behind... xD For me maths is just torture, and stupid as I am, I chose the long course which is even harder than the normal, short maths. Why did I do so, I have no idea. =_= I consider that choice as one of the biggest mistakes I've made, but now it's too late to do anything about it. :P
Yeaaah, super bass stereos! :D The huge bass booster is on the floor. ;)
I LOVE MUSIC. I couldn't live without music... Even though I can't play anything and I'm terrible singer, I love to listen to music. Huh, I feel like it's been forever since I last did a proper nail-post, so that's what's coming up next! ^^
This manicure was pretty hard to photograph... The baby blue lace pattern didn't really show up in pics, but you can tell that it's there, right? :'D
The first picture is taken today. It's now over two weeks since I took the henna tattoos, and as you can see, it's almost faded away. :< It lasted quite long, though! In my feet he tattoo hasn't faded that much. Couple days ago it was still like new... :D Well, here are my nails about week ago:
There the tattoo is about 1 week old, and it starts to fade from the finger tips.
I used two coats of H&M Pink Mist first, then I did white gradient to the tips by sponging Rimmel - London Clouds. Then I stamped the baby blue lace pattern with konads, I used the plate m71. Finally I polished three coats of OPI - Last Friday Night to the tips (over the white polish).
Here's the whole henna tattoo after a week.
I didn't like these nails that much at first, because they're not exactly what I had planned, but now I've had this design on my nails for a week and I have to say that I really like it! :D It was also nice to have something blue on my nails, because yesterday...
FINLAND WON THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP OF ICE HOCKEY!
...and that was the first time since 1995, when we won last time. 16 years ago... :P That was very sweet, because Sweden had won so many times and they were confident that they would win this year too, but we kicked their ass 1-6! xD I'm not a big fan of ice hockey, but hey, it's the world championship we're talking about. ;)
Besides, it's nice to win something after our Eurovision fail... xD Haha, everyone in Finland seemed to be so sure that we would win, but actually we were almost last! Well, I didn't really think the song would be good enough to actually win the whole thing, but... 21st? Fail! :'D Here's the top three:

2. Italy - Follia D'Amore (Madness of love)
3. Sweden - Popular
What do you think? If you watched the Eurovisions, do think that the right songs made it to the top? I think the winner song was pretty good, although it was a little when you heard it many times. I didn't have any huge favorites, but I liked the England's song and Ireland was funny. ^^
En aluksi oikein tykännyt näistä kynsistä, koska niistä ei tullut ihan sellaiset kuin olin sunnitellut... :P Nyt minulla on kutenkin ollut ne jo viikon, ja tykkään niistä itseasiassa aika paljon! ^^ Kuvissa näkyy myös mitä hennatatuoinnille kuuluu, nyt se on jo haalistunut melkein kokonaan pois käsistä, jaloissa se on vielä aika hyvässä kunnossa. Tatska kesti viikon hyväkuntoisena, ja alkoi sitten haalistua. Ylimmässä kuvassa näkyy tämänpäiväinen tilnne. :) Alle laitoin kaksi kerrosta H&Mn Pink Mistiä, ja töpöttelin kärkiin Rimmelin London Cloudsia. Sitten leimasin konadeilla (laatta m71) vaaleansiniset pitsikuviot kynsien tyveen. Kärkiin laitoin vielä kolme kerrosta OPIn Last Friday Nightia. Oli muuten kiva olla siniset kynnet eilen kun Suomi voitti lätkän mm-kultaa! :D En yleensä seuraa lätkää, mutta nyt päätin katsoa kun kaikki muut olivat niin tohkeissaan... Ja kyllä kannatti! 1-6, hyvä Suomi! ;D Varsinkin tuon Euroviisufailin jälkeen... Katsoitteko viisut, ja mitä mieltä olitte kärkikolmikosta? Oliko lemppareita? ;)

It was a little challenging to choose blogs that hadn't received this award yet (or at least I hope I chose blogs that hadn't got this one yet...), but here are my choices:
They're all very great blogs! Then the 10 things about me... Well, I was planning to do a proper post in which I'd tell you more about myself with lots of pictures (never seen before stuff, I was actually thinking somekind of picture of myself...). Would you even be interested? :'D Anyway, here's some facts for starters:
1. atm I'm very excited about Eurovision song contest! :P We watch them every year, and it's sort of a tradition... Even though the songs this year aren't that fabulous (my opinion!) I love the show. ^^
2. Sometimes I write lots of posts ready and then just publish them in time. Atm I have five (!) posts waiting to be published... :'D
3. I've probably mentioned this already, but my nails are very short in my right hand... I keep trying to grow them, but the index and middle nails always chip or crack, and so I shorten them all. :')
4. I'm addicted to lip palm! My lips get very dry if I stop using it, even in summer... I add lip palm probably more than 10 times a day.
5. I love drawing, but lately I haven't been drawing that much... I don't know why. Well, I guess I'm just waiting for somekind of huge inspiration! x)
6. I'm 182 cm tall and VERY clumsy. :'D My balance is horrible and keep stumbling.. I love high heels but I can't wear them that much because of this... I would be so much taller than everybody else!! xD
7. I dislike my feet. Because I'm so tall, my shoe size is...41-42 !! xDD There, I told it to everyone publicly on the internet... Anyway, sometimes it's hard to find cute shoes that would fit perfectly. I've always dreamed of desingning shoe-collection for tall and big-feeted people like me... Then I wouldn't have to worry about finding perfect shoes anymore! :P
8. I have glasses but I like them, I can't imagine myself without them. (Yes it's getting hard to think about these facts... Two more!)
9. I love chocolate and unhealthy food like chips or hamburgers, and eat them too much! I should start excercising, but for some reason (I'm lazy :')) I haven't yet...
10. I also love cooking, and if I have good recipes, I'm pretty good at it! ...Okay, anyone can cook with good instructions, but anyway. I love especially making brownies and apple pie, and in my opinion the best recipes ever can be found from here: Joy of Baking. If you love cooking, you should try them! My favorites are Apple Pie (<-- That's the best recipe ever!!! <3 It takes lots of time and effort, but it's worth it!) and Rocky Road Brownies (There's also basic brownie recipes, but that was the first I tried and fell in love with xD).
Okay, that's it. Was there something surprising? ;D Or is there still something you'd like to know? ^^
Btw, is anyone of you following Eurovisions this year? I already mentioned this topic, but I want to talk more about it... :'D This year the contest is at Germany. As I said, there's not that much great songs but some of them are good. The first semifinal was yesterday evening at 22.00 (Finnish time), and I watched it live on the internet. I have to admit that I wasn't any big fan of Finland's song (I just think it's okay), but I'm so glad we made it to the finals! ^^ This evening is the second semifinal, and I'm going to watch that too. :) Here's the Finland's song:

Sain siis tuon Kreativ Blogger -palkinnon Minnieltä. Idea on listata 10 hyvää blogia joille laittaa palkinnon eteenpäin, ja sitten kertoa 10 asiaa itsestään. Suunnittelin tekeväni vähän isomman postauksen jossa kerron enemmän itsestäni kuvien kanssa (kiinnostaako ketään? :D), joten en nyt käännä tuota koko litaniaa... Oletteko seuranneet Euroviisuja? Minusta taso ei ole tänä vuonna kovin korkealla, mutta katson viisut silti, siitä on tullut eräänlainen perinne... x) Eilen katsoin 1. semifinaalin YLE areenan kautta, ja olen kyllä iloinen että Suomi pääsi jatkoon vaikka en olekaan kyseisen kappaleen suuri fani! :P Onko teillä suosikkeja / inhokkeja? :)
In my last post I told that I'd taken henna tattoos, and here they are! I really like how they turned out, I just said that I want the tattoo to start from my index finger and go up my arm. Same on my feet, I just said were to start... I pretty much gave free hands to the artist. ^^
The picture above is taken on the same day I took the tattoos. It was orange at first, and it has darkened to dark brown. The first two pics are taken today, so you can see the difference. :) You might also notice that my nails are different too, but more about that in another post! ;)
Here's some pictures my sister KarzU took while I waited for the henna to dry... Btw, she also took henna tattoos, she'll put pictures to her blog soon, I think. ;)
On my hands, the tattoos go like spiral up my arm and there are swirls in every finger. On my feet the tattoos go up to my ankles. I love my tattoos, but it's also nice that henna tattoos are temporary, they'll last probably 1-2 weeks, it depends very much of your skin. Also the final color of the tattoo depends on person, mine turned out very dark. On my palms the tattoos are almost black... :D I feel very arabic now! ^^
Red henna doesn't have side-effects and it can be used as hair colour also (my mother colours her hair with henna). Although I can only speak based on my own and my friends experiences, some people might be allergic to henna, but I have nothing negative to say.
Anyway, though the red henna is safe to use, I want to say that don't take black henna tattoos! There are often some dangerous chemicals used to make the colour dark, and they can cause very strong and painful allergic reactions on skin. I've heard some scary stories about that, and you can also find some icky pics from Google about the results of taking a black henna tattoo. o_o
So, don't try black henna tattoos! I have nothing negative to say about red henna tattoos, though. ^^

Otin siis hennatatuoinnit pari päivää sitten! :D Ensimmäiset 2 kuvaa on otettu tänään, muut silloin kun tatska oli vielä melko tuore. Aluksi se oli oranssi, mutta se on nyt tummunut tummanruskeaksi. Kämmenissä kuviot ovat melkein mustia... ^^ Sitten siinä on muutama kuva jotka siskoni otti kun odottelin hennan kuivumista. Tykkään näistä todella paljon! Kirjoitin tuonne ylemmäs punaisen hennan hyödyistä ja mustan hennan haitoista, mutta en jaksa enää kirjoittaa niitä uudestaan... Vinkkinä vain, että älkää ottako mustia hennatatskoja, niistä voi tulla allergisia reaktioita ja muuta kivaa. o_o Punaisesta hennasta ei sen sijaan pitäisi tulla mitään, ainakin minulla on siitä vain hyviä kokemuksia!

Tällä kertaa esittelen teille vain kaverini kynnet. Hän halusi samantapaiset kynnet kuin TÄSSÄ postauksessa. Tein tällä kertaa raidoista vähän ohuemmat ja yksinkertaistin designia vähän. Oli kiva huomata, että sama juttu toimii sekä pitkillä että lyhyillä kynsillä! ^^ myös kaverini oli tyytyväinen. :) Viimeaikoina on ollut paljon kaikenlaista, mutta jatkan kirjoittelua entiseen tahtiin! :)

I was at Helsinki yesterday... I had to visit the National Museum of Finland because of my history class. The weather has been extremely depressing lately, and I wasn't very excited about that (stupid weather + boring museum), but after all it was a nice little trip. I went shopping after the museum... ;)

Hmm, Greenpeace was having some kind of protest against nuclear power. When you go to Helsinki, there's probably always going on some kind of protest against something or people try to stop random people and talk to them about environment problems and stuff like that... It's very annoying sometimes, even though I think that those problems are important. It was actually interesting to see them doing something that big IRL... There was police and lots of people watching.
I also saw people who were protesting against animal testing and fur. That was kinda scary, there were lots of them and they had big plagues with pictures of animals who were kept in misery and hurt. :( One of them was dressed as a fox. I think that fur farming and stuff like that is really wrong, but they were walking in the main street in the middle of the day and I saw little kids who were very upset and scared because of the pictures they were showing! Do they have to be so extreme? For me all that was a little too much for one day...
That's the museum. It looks more like a church to me, though...
I think this room was beautiful, although it was a little bit creepy somehow... I don't know.
That's one of the most famous paintings in Finland! It's Hyökkäys (=attack) by Eetu Isto, and it has very much symbolics in it... It represents Finland's history and how we had to fight for our independence. We just went through that stuff in history... :'D Actually it was interesting to see it IRL.
There was a special exhibition about dollhouses! I loved it.
Just look at all those details! You wouldn't believe how small all that actually was...

I'm sorry, this was a little depressing post, and I don't want to put my shoppings in this because they're so cute that they wouldn't fit into this text... ;D U know. So a posting about my shoppings coming up! I didn't buy lots of stuff but they're so cute! Hehe. ^^
Ihan lyhyt tiivistelmä tänään: Kävin Helsingissä Kansallismuseossa hissankurssini takia. Kuvat kertovat siitä enemmän! ;) Helsingissä oli menossa parikin mielenosoitusta, Greenpeace protestoi ydinvoimaa vastaan ja joku porukka kantoi isoja kylttejä joissa oli kuvia mm. turkiseläinten kärsimyksestä. Se oli aika ikävää, sillä paikalla oli pieniä lapsia jotka selvästi pelästyivät eläinten kuvia. Eihän pienet sellaista ymmärrä, eikä heidän mielestäni vielä tarvitsekaan. Ei erityisen piristävää, museoreissu ja mielenosoituksia... Tämä viimeaikainen sääkään ei ole pahemmin kohottanut mielialaa. :P Shoppailu onneksi piristi! ^^ Että sellasita tänään, tämä taisi olla vähän masentava postaus... Aion tehdä seuraavaksi jotkut tosi piristävät kynnet, tuo harmaus tuolla pihalla alkaa ottaa päähän. Ensi kerralla kuitenkin Helsingin reissun ostokset, itse olen niihin todella tyytyväinen! En ostanut paljoa, mutta ne on kyllä tosi söpöjä juttuja... ;))
